About Me

Robin Clement: I've had an interest in painting, drawing and sculpture from a young age which began with me trying to recreate the special effects I saw in 80s fantasy and cult films. I was always fascinated with how these people could recreate such amazing things from their imagination which inspired me to try to make my own fantastical creations. At art college I became increasingly influenced by rock album covers and tattoo art and began creating artwork for rock and metal bands which Suited me as I've always been attracted to the darker side of things. I work in a wide spectrum of mediums, predominantly acrylic and airbrushing, but also pastels, watercolour, charcoal and pen and ink for fine detail work. The artists that have influenced my style the most are Clive Barker, Paul Bonner, Brian Fraud, and Escher to name but a few.
